MBSE4U and Protos Proudly Revive a Classic: “Real-Time Object-Oriented Modeling (ROOM)” Back in Print!

ROOM, MBSE4U

In a significant move for software and systems engineering enthusiasts, MBSE4U in collaboration with Protos, has reissued the seminal work “Real-Time Object-Oriented Modeling” – widely known as ROOM. Long out of print and only available on the secondary market, this foundational text is now returning to the shelves thanks to the acquisition of rights from the original publisher, Wiley. We are thrilled to breathe new life into ‘Real-Time Object-Oriented Modeling.

“Real-Time Object-Oriented Modeling” is a tome that has been instrumental in the evolution of modeling languages, having a substantial influence on the development of both Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).

Authored by Bran Selic, Garth Gullekson, and Paul T. Ward, the book has been a cornerstone for understanding and applying object-oriented techniques to real-time systems. Its absence from the market created a knowledge gap that neither digital media nor newer publications have entirely filled.
